Denver Clerk & Recorder to Move All Public Services to One Downtown Location

Summary
The Denver Clerk & Recorder’s Office is consolidating all of its public services into a single location later this month, officials announced early this week.
Beginning Dec. 29, services currently offered at the Webb Building will move to the Clerk & Recorder’s headquarters at 200 W. 14th Ave., or the corner of 14th Ave and Bannock St. in Denver. The change means residents will be able to access all Clerk & Recorder services in one place.
The office issues marriage licenses, records land transactions, issues deeds of trust, provides foreclosure services, and accepts other legal filings. Officials say the move is designed to make it easier and more convenient for the public to access these services.
“All services will continue without interruption,” the office said. Hours will remain Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding city holidays.
Residents who need help finding the new office or have questions can call 720-865-8400.
