A woman of unwavering faith, Annie was a devoted member of Central Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She served as an usher, sang in the Senior Choir, and was active in the Women’s Missionary Union. Her church community was central to her life, reflecting her generous spirit and commitment to service.
Annie embraced life with enthusiasm. She was a gifted pianist, an avid traveler, and a proud member of the National Brotherhood of Skiers. Known for her impeccable fashion sense and zest for life, she brought joy wherever she went.
Family and friends fondly recall her playful nature. Affectionately known as the “fun aunt,” Annie was a second mother to many. She delighted in switching places with her nearly identical younger sister, Darlene, to make people laugh. She also taught etiquette to her nieces, blending humor with grace in everything she did.
She is survived by her beloved sons, Frederick Glen Beard of Denver and Kenneth Lee Bridges of Loveland; three cherished grandchildren; and a host of bonus grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Darlene Carpenter (Robert); and her brothers, Earl (Madonna) Beard, Billy Beard, and Alex (Brenda) Beard. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her extended family and countless friends.
Annie’s infectious laughter, profound wisdom, and boundless affection touched many lives. Her family hopes her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Celebration of Life
A service honoring Annie’s life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Central Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, before the service.
